Chorphin — the rules for using the app.

The short version: Chorphin is a household management app made by Grumpz Labs LLC. Use it to coordinate your household — don't abuse it. We may send you an SMS if someone invites you to a group. You can always opt out by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.
By downloading, installing, or using Chorphin, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app. These Terms apply to all users of Chorphin, including group admins and members.
Chorphin is operated by Grumpz Labs LLC. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
Chorphin is a household management application that helps groups of people — such as families or roommates — coordinate shared responsibilities including chores, shopping lists, meal plans, household events, and bills. Core features include:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
Chorphin may send SMS text messages to your phone number when an existing app user explicitly invites you to join their household group. By providing your phone number to another Chorphin user for the purpose of receiving an invite, you consent to receive this SMS communication.
When you create or join a household group, your display name and activity within the group (chores completed, items added, etc.) are visible to all members of that group. This is by design — Chorphin is a collaborative app.
Group admins can invite new members and remove existing members. If you are removed from a group, you will lose access to that group's data. Data you created within a group (chores, shopping items, etc.) may remain visible to other group members after you leave or are removed.
Your use of Chorphin is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our data practices.
Chorphin may send push notifications to your device for chore reminders, assignments, and household updates. You can manage or disable push notifications at any time through your device's Settings app.
Chorphin and all related content, branding, and technology are owned by Grumpz Labs LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial household management purposes.
You retain ownership of any content you create within the app (chore names, notes, etc.). By using the app, you grant Grumpz Labs LLC a limited license to store and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the service.
Chorphin is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Grumpz Labs LLC does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs or viruses.
We are not responsible for any household disputes, missed chores, or other real-world outcomes arising from the use of the app.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Grumpz Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Chorphin, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past twelve months (if any).
You may stop using Chorphin and delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account within the app. Account deletion permanently removes your profile and all directly associated data.
Grumpz Labs LLC may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Grumpz Labs LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
